At our group meeting on 8th May we decided to include a themed VE-Day celebration with flags, cakes and scones and some memories and thoughts from the 1940s and 1950s.
Members also brought along memorabilia and photographs of the time and share their meaning and history with other group members.
A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon was had by all who attended.
