Group Convenors: How to Request a New or Existing Group Website Page Update
Our website is an active means of informing our membership and visitors of what Ringmer u3a has to offer, so it is important to make sure that group information is up-to-date. To help us acheive this we ask that group convenors keep their group website pages up-to-date.
If you would like an update to your group website page, please follow the steps below:
STEP 1
You may do this by simply using the Webmaster Online Contact Form, please provide the following details-
Your Name, Your email address, Message subject: include the name of your group
Your message: please tell us about the changes you require and any specific wording/text you want shown on your group page.
Copyright and Data Protection Guidance:
Important information about using documents, images, photographs or other media on website pages, we need to know:
1. The group page the image or photograph is to be displayed/published.
2. The location where the photograph(s) were taken and any related text.
3. That the people in the photograph(s) have given their permission to be photographed.
4. Who took the photograph(s) and has the person given their permission to use it and know it will be published on the website.
5. Has the owner(s) of the document(s)/other media given their permission to use such document(s)/other media and know it will be published on the website. It is recommended to request to link to an external document or other media rather than to request to publish it on our website.
Please note that we can't upload any documents, images, photographs or any other media that might be subject to copyright.

STEP 2: Send your form (email)
Send your completed form with update information to the Webmaster.
STEP 3: What Happens Next
The Webmaster will then review the requested changes and if there are no queries, will then proceed and arrange to update the information on your group website page.
